What is IOP?

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for mental health, structured as 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, typically includes:

  • Therapy Sessions:

    • Coping Skills Training: Practical strategies for managing daily challenges and emotions effectively.

  • Psychoeducation:

    • Mental Health Education: Sessions focused on understanding mental health conditions and learning effective coping strategies.

    • Medication Management: Guidance on the appropriate use of prescribed medications and understanding their effects.
